This year’s Mary & Christmas will take place at St. Ignatius College Prep
1076 West Roosevelt Road, Chicago, Illinois 60608 due to Capital Campaign Construction at the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii.
We are grateful to St. Ignatius College Prep for allowing us to use their beautiful facilities.

 Concert: 7:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Champagne and Pastry Reception

C E L E B R A T I O N

Experience the wonder of Christmas night and the joy of Christmas morning at the Shrine’s annual Mary & Christmas concert. Held once
again in the gorgeous McLaughlin Theater at St. Ignatius College Prep, this year’s music invites you on a journey from the stillness and peace of the nativity to the glory of Christmas dawn. Under the baton of Maestra Carling FitzSimmons, the exquisite Shrine Chorus
and Orchestra will be joined by the talented young musicians of Spirito Singers, performing excerpts from Benjamin Britten’s iconic
A Ceremony of Carols with harpist Autumn Selover. And no evening would be complete without the warm baritone of Anthony Rago, the
powerful mezzo-soprano of Josie Falbo, or the sparkling clarity of soprano Mia Rago, all of whom showcase their versatility with holiday
favorites new and old. From themes from Cinema Paradiso by Ennio Morricone to a warm musical benediction from our own Father Richard Fragomeni, this year’s concert is not to be missed!
